This translation of portions of the 1925 American Proposed Book of Common Prayer into Polish was prepared by the Rev. Edward M. Bączewski (later Bak, 18 September 1898—6 January 1984). The printed hardcover is a 12mo book 13 cm high and 124 pages long. The John C. Winston Company of Philadelphia printed 2,000 copies in 1927 for the Bishop White Prayer Book Society of the Protestant Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania for use in four Polish-speaking congregations of the diocese.

It is identified as translation 135:2 in David Griffiths’ Bibliography of the Book of Common Prayer 1549-1999 (The British Library/Oak Knoll Press, 2002). A surviving copy in a private collection was digitized in 2022 by Michael Krasulski and Richard Mammana. Spelling has not been updated to reflect twentieth-century orthographic reforms.

Historical background on this translation and the congregations that used it is available in this essay by Mammana and in this archival repository by Krasulski.
