Nupe is a major language of Nigeria.

William Muss-Arnolt discusses the first translations into Nupe of Anglican missionary literature and liturgical material in Chapter LX of The Book of Common Prayer among the Nations of the World (1914). David Griffiths identifies this translation as 126:3 in The Bibliography of the Book of Common Prayer 1549-1999.
